Partners in Responsible Tourism (PIRT)
PIRT is a network of individuals and representatives of tourism companies who are concerned about the impact of tourism and tourism development on local environments and cultures, particularly those of indigenous peoples. We believe that responsible tourism promotes positive cultural and environmental ethics and practices: we promote travel which supports these goals.
