Crosby Arboretum, Mississippi State University
The Crosby Arboretum, Mississippi State University is dedicated to the preservation and display of plants native to the North American Gulf Coastal Plain. The Arboretum is comprised of a 104-acre native plant community based Interpretive Center and nearly 1,000 acres of natural areas.

The Crosby Arboretum, Mississippi State University celebrates the natural and cultural heritage of the Gulf Coastal Plain of the southeastern United States. The Arboretum provides for the protection of the region's biological diversity as well as a place for the public's enjoyment of plant and animal species native to our area.
The Arboretum's 104-acre Interpretive Center is located in Picayune, Mississippi and displays reconstructed native plant communities found locally. Additionally, the Arboretum manages nearly 1,000 acres of natural areas which nurtures over 300 species of indigenous trees, shrubs, wildflowers, and grasses.
