The NDWC, a non-profit public service organization sponsored by the USDA's Rural Utilities Service, seeks to maintain services and information related to small community drinking water systems. Intended for drinking water systems serving fewer than 10,000 people and those who work with them, the NDWC provides the following services: furnishes info to help communities comply with the Safe Drinking Water Act; offers technical consultation and referral services through a toll-free number; free informational products, including brochures and videos; houses databases related to small community water systems; publishes On Tap magazine, Drinking Water Products Catalog (340 free products), Tech Briefs (short fact sheets), and the Outreach Resource Guide.
