Volunteer Peten is a non-profit organization established in San Andres, Peten to aid development work in Guatemala by training international volunteers to design and implement sustainable projects. Housing and training of volunteers is located in the Parque Ecologico Nueva Juventud, a 150-acre concession located one mile north of San Andres.Volunteer Peten provides the framework for travelers and students to develop their own personal projects for families, schools, community groups, local governments and other non-government orgainizations.
