The main aim of the site is to provide a resource for architects, designers and educational institutions, in order to encourage the energy efficient design of buildings.This web site is the work of Dr. Andrew Marsh and Ms. Caroline Raines of Square One research and the Welsh School of Architecture at Cardiff University. It has been a personal project for some time and was completed entirely without funding of any kind, other than through sales of the ECOTECT software available through the site.
