Wyoming Conservation Voters works to track conservation-related legislation and public policy and hold decision-makers accountable to their conservation-minded constituents for the decisions they make. Through a state legislative scorecard, a Web site, earned and paid media and electoral advocacy, WCV aims to shape a new bipartisan pro-conservation consensus within the state.Headquartered in Casper, Wyo., the nonpartisan, nonprofit organization has a charitable affiliate, the Wyoming Conservation Voters Education Fund, which helps voters understand their role in decision-making that effects the environment, and helps other Wyoming conservation groups build their capacity to empower their members to do the same.
