Through undergraduate education programs, international collaboratives, scholarships and endowments, reseach, and outreach, the Wilderness Institute aims to: *Provide wilderness education that is integrated, interdisciplinary, and experiential;
*Broaden community and public understanding and support of wilderness through outreach;
*Disseminate quality wilderness information through mediums appropriate to a broad range of audiences;
*Promote scholarship on wildland issues, including research, think tanks, and conferences.
