SWAT Swamp Watch Action Team
Dedicated to restoring and preserving the forested wetlands of the Southeastern United States. Our main concerns are aerial spraying of herbicides by the forestry industry, and any un-enforced violations of the Clean Water Act, and North Carolina State environmental regulations.

Founded with the concerns of hunters who saw the decimation of wildlife in the Green Swamp, a growing group of environmentalists have taken on the huge logging corporations that have moved to the Southeast after losing regulatory battles in California and Oregon. Also plans for a mega-sized landfill threaten the water in the Green Swamp for generations to come. We're seeking to educate people about the dangers of pesticide and herbicide spraying, and how people can come together to create a cleaner healthier environment, especially for the wetlands that are a main source of water for the citizens of the Southeastern USA.
