The Consortium's initial objective is to provide a forum for collaboration on environmental policy and education. To enhance the quality of the dialog between the participating institutions, the Consortium will identify on a periodic basis the cutting-edge policy issues challenging environmental decision makers and the environmental and sustainable development courses and research interests of participating colleges and universities. This information will become the basis for exploring opportunities for cooperation among participating government and academic institutions.The Consortium is currently comprised of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania's Departments of Environmental Protection and Conservation
