Detailed Information:
Our three part mission of protecting lands for Nature, preserving indiginous resources and providing public access is a balanced approach. In the preserves that we maintain, the public will have access through designated trails, boardwalks and observation platforms, allowing people to connect with Nature without intruding and disturbing protected wildlife and habitats. Similarly, the public will have disignated trails to Native American exhibits and demonstrations where they can learn the environmental values of the first people. As in the case of wildlife habitats, the santity of certain Native American sacred sites will be protected from intrusion. We work with and offer Native American groups the opportunity to help maintain our preserves, and to once again be the stewards of the land. This balanced approach is also intended to be itself, a demonstration of how balance is a sustaining practice that will ensure that the endless refrain of Nature will be a perpetual heritage of all future generations.
