Detailed Information:
FACT focuses on making a local environmental difference within the Alum Creek river watershed-- a mostly urban/suburban drainage area of some 189 square miles below the State Park Reservoir Dam in Delaware and Franklin Counties (Westerville, Columbus, and Bexley) of Ohio. Members meet monthly and a quarterly newsletter is published; the group's website describes current activities. A major project involves sponsoring the development and implementation of a public Watershed Action Plan to address threats to the river's water quality (under the goals of the Clean Water Act).
