We, the Narrow Ridge community, bring diverse backgrounds to strengthen our interfaith approach and concern for the ecological health of our bioregion - the Upper Tennessee Valley and Southern Appalachian Mountains. A land trust community is in place, and adjoining land areas are privately held by a wider community of people with Earth/human concerns. A design for organic gardens, orchards and woodlands is being carried out. A hilltop of various wild edible plants is on display and available for taste-testing. A resource center and library of current Earth Literacy materials are open to all who come. Narrow Ridge's simple solution to life's mystery is to live in balance and harmony withour environment, to become real inhabitants of the land and to voluntarily choose simplicity whenever possible.
