The Eco Encore system is designed to generate financial support for environmental organizations in the greater Seattle area while promoting the reuse of books, CDs and videos. Through the collection, sale and distribution of used media, Eco Encore literally turns unwanted goods into financial contributions that support a range of local environmental nonprofits.

Eco Encore is dedicated to treading lightly on the earth. We utilize recycled and used paper for all of our correspondence and packaging, and we ship packages through the U.S. Postal Service, which we believe to be the most environmentally efficient system. Whenever possible, our transportation is conducted by foot, bike or bus in order to limit pollution, congestion and the burning of fossil fuels.
