The Organization for the Assabet River (OAR) is dedicated to protecting the Assabet River and its watershed for recreation and wildlife habitat. A federally designated Wild and Scenic River, the Assabet River is located to the west of Boston, Massachussets.

OAR is a small but growing science-based advocacy organization that works to protect the scenic and historic Assabet River and its watershed.
