Detailed Information:
The Insect Discovery Lab engages children, students, teachers, and the general public in exploring the extraordinarily diverse world of insects and other invertebrates and teaches about their key role in the web of life. Coupled with this learning is the opportunity for individuals to participate in direct conservation action to protect the biodiversity of the earth.
The Insect Discovery Lab is a science collaborative, integrating departments of Biology, Education, and Theater Arts, providing interactive hands-on educational programs for elementary and middle school students, particularly those in the inner-city, community and youth centers, and the general public.
