The California Regional Environmental Education Community (CREEC) Network is an educational project whose mission is to develop a communication network which provides educators with access to High Quality environmental education resources to enhance the environmental literacy of California Students.

Detailed Information:
The CREEC Network is a project administered by the California Department of Education, Office of Environmental Education, in partnership with numerous organizations and agencies throughout the state. There are 13 regional offices, each with a Coordinator(s) working to seek out high quality EE resource and communicate them to teachers.
The CREEC Network maintains an active website for each region; maintains an on-line searchable database of EE providers in cooperation with WestEd; maintains regional advisory committees that provide organizational and fund development support; and prepares and distributes print and e-newsletters.
