Detailed Information:
Through the annual Bioneers Conference, workshops, the media, the Bioneers Fund and model projects, Bioneers seeks to create a network of visionary innovators working to heal and restore the Earth and people. During the conference, the Bioneers Youth Initiative offers workshops and resources specifically oriented for young people to build leadership capacity and connect to network of peers and mentors. It is an amazing opportunity for young people to be exposed to the wide range of environmental and social justice issues and opportunities surrounding youth activism.

Scholarships create the opportunity for a group diverse in race, ethnicity, culture, age, socio-economic class, geographic area, familiarity with environmental issues, and leadership capacity to come to the conference. In 2002, we awarded over 100 scholarships to young people and educators. At least 300 additional young people participated through work exchange, partial scholarship, and regular registration. Your collaboration in spreading the word about the Bioneers Youth Initiative and scholarship opportunities is vitally important towards supporting and reaching a diverse population of young people.
