Detailed Information:
This semester abroad program includes 35 hours of formal lectures in the classroom for each of the 4 core courses (1- Costa Rican Natural History; 2- Tropical Ecology; 3- Biological Diversity and Conservation; and 4- Spanish). All courses, except Spanish, will be taught in English. The Spanish course will be intensive and combined with the family home-stay, will provide the students with the language proficiency to communicate effectively.
