Environmental Review is a 16-page monthly newsletter that uses interviews with scientists to explain their work in plain English. It focuses on environmental science and is intended for readers at the high school level and up.

The Environmental Review has been published monthly since January 1994 so there are about 120 back issues to go into this archive. We are adding the most recent issues first and working our way back to the older issues.

The newsletter is published by Environmental Review Educational Services, a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation registered in Washington State.

Environmental Review is not associated with any other group or organization, and the newsletter accepts no advertising. It is supported by subscriptions, tax deductible contributions from individuals and businesses, and grants from philanthropic foundations.

About the Publisher

Douglas Taylor has a Ph.D. in plant physiology from the University of Washington. He has worked as a research scientist at Cornell University and the Boyce Thompson Institute for Plant Research in Ithaca, New York, and at the University of Washington in Seattle. He gets to do two interviews a month with scientists and edit them into immortal prose.
