A zero-emissions (solar- and wind-powered) cargo ship for international aid delivery, environmental promotion, and fair trade. Our goal is to provide greenheart-type ships to needy coastal communities around the world.

The Greenheart Project is designing, building and will operate a solar-electric auxiliary windship in a new type of non-profit/fair trade business model with a world-around range. We will offer free delivery of development aid to cooperative NGO's, as well as free promotional services to Org's active in Sustainability issues. Greenheart intends to support herself by trading in Environmentally-sourced products from the poorest coastal regions.
The data from the operations of this prototype merchantman will be used to promote sustainable transport options for poverty abatement programs for the developing world.
