Pigeon People
Pigeon People’s overall goal is to improve attitudes toward pigeons by education. At the same time, we try to protect them from the results of misunderstanding and irrationality by peaceful methods.

Pigeon People teaches that pigeons are loving, gentle, commicative, harmless birds. We work to protect pigeons and help in rescue and rehabilitation (and plan to build a center). We appreciate pigeons as wild and as companions.
All of us appreciate nature and love the fullness of life in this world in its intricacy. We know humanity is a small part of the world that has become a too-large part. We think that pigeons are hated as part of the basic human misunderstanding of nature and of our lives.
We are based in New York City. There will be a website to replace the Yahoo group - a volunteer to build it is needed.
