Detailed Information:
A draft Concessionary Agreement netween the Albanian Government and the Italian Company "AlbaniaBeg Ambient" has been strongly criticized by the Albanian citizens and the civil society (NGO Sector).
This will mean that the Italian Company will invest to build an incenerator for the waste of the two biggest cities (Tirana ans Durres)with a 0 cost.
In return, 39% of the quantity of solid waste will come from Italy. Also in this deal it is mentioned that 900- 1400 tons of waste per day will come during the 340 days in 25 years, which means that our country will “host” in total 200 million tons of waste or 66,000 tons per person or 132 m3 for every Albanian
