Detailed Information:
The Campaign participates in campaigns of state coalitions and citizen groups across the country to raise awareness of wilderness issues and to seek adoption of proposals and initiatives that will save our remaining wilderness. Our efforts are singularly focused on ensuring that America's last wild lands have a fair chance to be considered for permanent wilderness protection.
The Campaign adds strategically planned resources to make the work of local people more effective, adding seasoned wilderness advocates to represent grassroots groups in Washington, DC, where wilderness laws are written. We work to organize at the grassroots level, to bring the voice of the people to the ears of the nation's leaders. Our communications efforts will help raise the visibility of the threats to wilderness today, and engage more people in the work of protecting this invaluable resource.
