ACTA supports and provides on-the-ground education, extension and advice for African communities, conservators and institutions. ACTA has a broad membership and structure, forming partnerships throughout the region for active conservation awareness and management.
ACTA is building a substantial network of effective on-the-ground conservators throughout sub-Saharan Africa who work with and for ACTA on selected projects. ACTA has an ‘ears to the ground’ approach to fulfilling conservation and development needs. In all, ACTA stands for better environment and life for the people of Africa.
