Detailed Information:
Thorne Ecological Institute has three main programs to fulfill its mission; Thorne Natural Science School summer day camp for 6-15 yr olds, Project BEAR (Building Environmental Awareness and Respect) and Sombrero Marsh Partnership. All programs are hands-on field based experiential courses for children and adults. Thorne has a Teaching Assistant program for 16 year olds and up and accepts interns and volunteers year round.
