Detailed Information:
Strong Communities Each year, over 10,000 volunteers participate in environmental restoration projects led by EarthCorps. We partner with government agencies, foundations, community organizations, businesses and schools. EarthCorps is committed to working on projects that engage and benefit underserved communities.
Healthy Habitats EarthCorps crews work to restore the environment, improve air and water quality and ensure that local residents can enjoy safe, low-impact access to natural areas in urban, suburban and rural settings.
Young Leaders EarthCorps brings young people together from across the country and around the world to restore the environment and build a supportive community. Our service-learning programs give children, teens and young adults the chance to practice real-world restoration techniques and leadership skills.
EarthCorps is governed by a 15-member Board of Directors and has a full-time professional staff of 18. The organization includes 65 program participants and seasonal staff.
