Detailed Information:
The core Beam Reach offering is a full-term (10 week) program for undergraduates that is appropriate for science and non-science majors alike, and is approved for academic credit through the University of Washington. During the first half of the program students collaborate with scientists, formulate individual research projects, and prepare for sea. Then they board a sailing research vessel and explore the Pacific Ocean under renewable power.
