Detailed Information:
IF you are a young person, you'll get to take action on the issues you care about, meet teens from all over the country who share your interests and concerns, learn new ways to get things done, and see the difference your work makes. If you are an educator, you'll expand the classroom beyond the walls of the school, enhance your curriculum through community-based activities, excite students with experiential and self-directed learning, strengthen the connection between school and community. A YMCA partnership offers leadership development, outdoor activities and trips, can provide service-learning and environmental education. If you are a community volunteer, you'll work side by side young people who are addressing real community issues, and see the impact your positive influence and relationship has on them.

If you are a YMCA staff, you'll collaborate with schools, businesses, and government while showcase your YMCA through the youth-led service projects which produce visible outcomes like vacant lots converted to urban gardens.
