The Sydney-based Graduate School of the Environment (GSE) is currently Australia's premier postgraduate environmental studies institution, and is the largest independent environment centre in Australia. We are based at Macquarie University, an association which brings many extra benefits such as easy access to computers, extensive available information, and strong bonds in the other university schools e.g. law, biological sciences, economics, geography, chemistry, and educational studies. Degrees on offer are either by coursework or research, and include: Doctor of Philosophy, Master of Science, Honours degree of Master of Arts; Postgraduate Certificates in Environmental Economics, Environmental Management, Wildlife Management; Postgraduate Diplomas in Environmental Studies, or Environmental Education; and Masters programs in Environmental Education, Environmental Planning, Environmental Studies, Environmental Management, and Wildlife Management.
