Detailed Information:
In 1990, a group of persons interested in the conservation of natural resources formed a civil corporation with the purpose of developing environmental education courses in the State of Aguascalientes, Mexico. Thus born was the Miguel Angel Barberena Vega Foundation. Parallel to the creation of this institution, restoration and conditioning work was done on an 18th-century ex-hacienda, where the Los Cuartos Ecological Center was established.
