National Sea Grant College Program

The National Sea Grant College Program is a network of 29 university-based programs in coastal and Great Lake states involving more than 300 institutions nationwide in research, education and the transfer of technology regarding coastal, marine and Great Lakes issues.

The Sea Grant Press Center web site provides a one-stop internet site for entry into a multitude of Sea Grant and associated websites for the news media, policy-makers, researchers, educators and the general public. Links are provided to hundreds of state resources, specialized publications, newsletters and educational material aimed at promoting the wise and sustainable use of coastal, marine and Great Lakes resources. An online keyword searchable experts database is maintained as well.
