The Saskatchewan Forest Conservation Exchange includes 1)"hot spots"-- an introduction to topical forest conservation issues 2) Forest Calendar- updates of news about issues, environmental assessments, public meetings etc. 3) Links to position papers, resolutions etc. posted by forest conservation groups in Saskatchewan 4)Digest of news about Saskatchewan forests 5) An overview of Sakatchewan'as forests and conservation issies in the forests 6) an on-line guide to Saskatchewan boreal forest trees and ecoregions 7) Links to related sites. The site is not officially sponsered, but was created as a result concern of members of the Saskatchewan Econet Forest Working Group (an organization of more than 25 environmental groups)about the need for better communication between groups and with the public. The site is maintained by a member of the SEN management Committee.
