Vermont Law School ranks as one of the leading environmental law schools in the country. The Environmental Program is open to both law and non-law degree candidates, and offers two degrees: Master of Studies in Environmental Law (MSEL) and JD/MSEL (joint-degree). Over 50 courses in environmental law and policy are offered, the largest number of offerings in the country. Flexible degree offerings include one-year, summers-only, or part-time. The Summer Session offers two-week, three-week and eight-week courses.
