Detailed Information:
We have a collection of stream activities and related classroom activities, called STREAM: Schools Teaching Restoration Education At My Stream. We have an educator available funded by the Chesapeake Bay Trust through Civic Works, Inc. to give presentations on watersheds in general and on the Herring Run Watershed, and to lead field trips to a nearby stream to record problems on a map, look for macroinvertebrates, cleanm up trash, and plant trees. We are expanding our web page to have lesson plans you can download. Most of the lessons can be used with any watershed area. If you join the Herring Run Watershed Association, you will receive our newsletter and the complete curriculum.
