Sustainable Northwest (SNW) is a Portland, Oregon-based nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization established in 1994 to build partnerships in the Pacific Northwest that strengthen local capacity to promote sustainable development: economic development that is anchored in the maintenance, restoration and enhancement of the environment. SNW also works to improve the public and policymakers' understanding and adoption of the principles and practices of sustainable development as fundamental to our collective future.
