Global Green USA is the American affiliate of Green Cross International created by President Mikhail S. Gorbachev. GCI has affililates in 21 countries. GG USA works in cooperation with business, government and individuals to foster a global value shift toward a sustainable future. Acting as a catalyst, facilitator, GG USA is accelerating the responsible cleanup of military bases and chemical weapons destruction in the U.S. and Russia; creating healthier homes and neighborhoods by greening affordable housing and shifting policy to stem sprawl; forwarding renewable energy by promoting green power choices in the deregulated market place; working to prevent conflict over water in the Middle East and other regions by promoting sustainable solutions.
