The Environmental Education Television Project for China (EETPC) is a project of the TVE International dedicated to ensuring the Chinese people access to up-to-date information on environmental awareness, protection and conservation. The EETPC has a central library and to date 8 regional distribution centres. The EETPC distributes its programmes for free and is supported by the European Commission, the German GTZ, UNICEF and other international agencies. The EETPC reaches hundreds of millions of Chinese through television broadcast and cassette distribution to schools and universities. With 1.3 billion people, China faces enormous environmental challenges. We welcome all who wish to assist in this effort.
