Special features of the MA include: no prior legal knowledge required; interdisciplinaryapproach to environmental issues; all courses taught by recognised specialists; widerange of career opportunities; full and part-time study available. Modules studied include half modules in Environmental Law, EnvironmentalPolicy-making, Environmental Science, and Environmental Economics; full (optional)modules in Environmental Diplomacy, Environmental Impact Assessment, WaterRights, Development Control, Ecological Economics, Economics of Waste, GreenParties and Movements, International Environmental Law, Sustainable Developmentand Waste Management Law. Research training is given in two modules: Quantitiativeand Qualitative Research Methods, and Philosophical and Methodological ResearchIssues.
