Detailed Information:
We provide organization for our members, providing coordination and support to local community groups who are defending their watersheds, wildlife habitats, and quality of life. We also coordinate activities which bring all of the forests voices across the region together to work to protect and defend our forests and communities. Our geographical scope is focused in the Southeast, where chip and pulp mill operations are most concentrated, but we also have members in other regions as the industry moves into the central Appalachian and Ozark Mountains and beyond.
