The Environmental Ethics Certificate Program (EECP) seeks to unify peoplefrom a diversity of disciplines in discussion and decision-making aboutenvironmental problems that involve competing values. The program provides aforum where philosophers, scientists and people from all other disciplines candiscuss social and scientific responsibilities towards our environment in a rational manner which clearly define problems, consider all the information, and maintain our values. The program sponsors a lecture series, includes community outreach projects, and gathers together students, faculty, and community members who are interested in environmental issues.
