The website is a multimedia extravaganzacelebrating the legacy and heritageof the sacred river Sarasvati adoredin the Rigveda as the best of mothers,best of rivers and best of goddesses.The river sustained a great, expansivecivilization circa 3000 B.C. Projectsare being developed in three ecologicalzones (canals, semi-arid lands, salt-marshes) to rejuvenate the Sarasvati River Basin. The site invites globalpartnerships to get involved in the projects which will benefit over 40 million people and change their lives through more efficient and effective watershed management.
