La perruche d`Ouvea est une espece endemique menacee d`extinction, decouvrez la perruche d`Ouvea, son mode de reproduction, son habitat ainsi que les actions engagees pour sa sauvegarde. The ecology of this bird is now better known and a recovery plan has been set up. The Association pour la Sauvegarde de la Perruche d`Ouvéa (ASPO) was founded in 1993 to conserve this natural heritage. Its members are customary tribal chiefs from Ouvea, scientists and inhabitants from the island.
