From bays, sounds, bayous and inlets around the nation, people who treasure our estuaries have come together in small bands of volunteers and large regional organizations to protect and restore the waters they love. Restore America`s Estuaries was formed in 1995 and now has eleven regional estuary protection groups with the purpose to help unite voices and give national purpose to the growing movement to save our nation`s estuaries from their ongoing decline.
