Our mission is enacted in a number of initiatives, including the publication of an award-winning journal, 'humanity', and of our website, www.humanity.org. We also have a leadership initiative and a folklore initiative. Because we are very small (five full time staff), interns make a significant impact on THF's initiatives, progress and future direction. Located on Martha's Vineyard, Massachusetts, THF offers summer, semester and year-long internships of 30 hours per week (minimum eight-week commitment preferred). Students interested in international relations, journalism, web publishing, anthropology, cross-cultural education, fund-raising and nonprofit management are encouraged to consider internships at THF. Areas of work may include: editorial development of the website and journal; alliance development; grant research; fundraising; and program development. THF seeks self-motivated, creative, articulate individuals. Applicants should be able to work independently. All THF internships are unpaid positions.
