Detailed Information:
Non profit foundation in the Republic of Panama working towards improving the quality of life of the inhabitants of Darién, Republic of Panama by promoting projects related to forestry, sustainable (organic) agriculture, basic health, education, environmental construction (rammed earth), and promoting the conservation of the biodiversity of the region. We are currently working on a project to create an educational center on 700 hectares of land in Canglón, Darién. The center will have a two-fold mission: 1. Adult education in sustainable agriculture-forestry and conservation,2. A hands on forestry-agricultural institute for youth,male and female at the high school level grades 9 - 12. Upon graduation the students will obtain a high school degree in forestry-agriculture.
