Detailed Information:
The Dana Point Headlands support endangered plants and animals such as the Pacific Pocket Mouse and the California Gnatcatcher. A developer has been fighting the city to develop the 121 acre property. They intend to build a 100 room resort and over 200 houses on the point. Save the Headlands was formed to fight this development and has won significant victories in the past but lately the courts have sided with the landowners.
