Umpqua Watersheds, Inc. is a 501c3 non-profit organization who`s purpose is:To monitor the activities of the federal, state and local agencies charged with the responsibility of managingforest and other lands within the designated area; To advocate sound stewardship of public lands and resources with emphasis on sustainability ofbiodervisity and restoration; To improve communication with public agencies, private landowners and industry and To educate the public in the interest of informed consent and public participation in decision making.
