Detailed Information:
Founded in 1972, the Northern Plains Resource Council is a Montana community-based conservation organization with a strong connection to the land. Originally formed by ranchers, farmers, and townspeople, NPRC is committed to land stewardship and social justice principles which ensure that Montana's air, land, water and unique quality of life are maintained and improved to ensure future generations a healthy, quality homeland. NPRC believes that the rural, urban and tribal communities of this region can prosper and thrive without destroying what makes Montana and this region truly "the last, best place."
