EMS Info is a page dedicated to providing information on environmental management systems (EMS) to employees of the Government of Canada and other EMS practitioners. The site is a tool for accessing information on environmental management systems, Canadian environmental legislation, and common operations issues such as hazardous material management. The site contains numerous links to Canadian federal government sites, pollution prevention sites, climate change sites, and other sites of general environmental interest. In the future, case studies of EMS development and implementation at Canadian federal facilities will be posted as well. EMS Info is an initiative of Environment Canada and is supported by the efforts of the Federal Committee on Environmental Management Systems (FCEMS). (The site is available in both English and French.)
