The Canadian Council on Ecological Areas (CCEA) is a national, non-profit organization incorporated in 1982. It became a registered, charitable organization in 1995. The CCEAdraws its membership and support from federal, provincial and territorial goverments,non-government organizations, private industry and the research community. The CCEA is committed to establishing a comprehensive network of protected areas linked together in a system that will protect Canada`s terrestrial and aquatic diversity in perpetuity.
